I am a 6th grade teacher in Southern California. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from BYU and my master's degree from PLNU. I have been teaching for 11 years.
The coolest thing about my teaching assignment is that I am at the school that I went to as a kid. The principal that interviewed me was a teacher when I was a student. I had the chance to teach with several of my own teachers growing up but they are now retired...I guess me coming back made them realize it was time!
I currently work as our Technology Lead Teacher and Teaching Vice Principal...two jobs with which I have a "love-hate" relationship.
